JOB DESCRIPTION:

Project head EPC Business will be responsible to increase revenue and to achieve approved levels of profitability for EPC Business by handling and improving key areas of operation – Marketing & Sales, Finance, Project Execution, Divisional Administration and People Management to accomplish the mission, vision and targeted goals of the organisation.

Business Development

  • Strategise, plan and initiate consolidation & expansion of existing business.
  • Increase revenue and profit to achieve the Company’s growth by diversification in new projects.
  • Analysis of lost orders, lessons learnt, review progress of existing contract and ensuring timely actions for debottlenecking.

Business Plan and Management

  • Identifying, accessing and firming-up short term and long term goals of the EPC Division aligning with Company’s objective.
  • To develop new Business Plan based on requirement.
  • Analyze and consolidate existing operations of EPC vertical to maintain and exceed existing business levels in line with the Business Plan.
  • Finalization of budget with defined top-line and bottom-line targets for approval by the Reviewing Committee in March every year / if necessary in the middle of the year.
  • Create systems, protocols and SOPs for planning, execution and monitoring of the division.
  • Supporting and guiding the MRs of respective Businesses, reporting to the position, in improving the ‘Total Quality’ of their products and services through implementation as well as maintenance of ISO quality system.

Project Planning and Execution

  • Ensure timely execution of ongoing EPC projects to achieve the contract completion time and projected profit margin.
  • Identify and introduce project planning mechanism, scheduling, progress and monitoring.
  • Review existing MIS and make changes or create new MIS to put in place an effective system to highlight early warnings, monitor progress and capture financial impacts.
  • Ensuring efficient Contract Administration with clients and sub-contractors to enable compliance, spot deviation and record hindrances to protect financial and legal interests of the EPC Division.

Financial

  • Responsible for complete cash flow management for EPC Division.
  • Monitoring Cost Bottom line and Debtors Management.
  • Oversee the financial  activities  of division so that  all functions  are carried out in a cost effective  manner  while  maintaining the  national and international  quality 

Personnel Management

  • Identifying the Key Positions in the division and develop team with requisite abilities, skills and knowledge to ensure Succession Planning and to manage business deliverables.
  • Contribute to design and implementation of policies and structures that ensure availability of fully functional human resources to meet the departmental objectives.
  • Develop and steer team work defining specific roles & responsibilities along reporting line.
  • Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory/official bodies to increase credibility and reputation of JS group

Others

  • Supporting the Group and the group companies, by going beyond the boundary of own domain, in searching / venturing into new business opportunities, co-ordinating with external companies for seeking support, locating new collaborators / JV partners and taking strategic decisions in problem solving, growth and prospect.
  • Advising and guiding company’s other EPC businesses existing under joint venture of JS Group.
  • EPC project viability study for JV companies.
  • Assure compliances in coordination with HR Department.
